So yesterday the company I work for started the process for donating a Stratasys 3D printer which has already been claimed by a team. Today the CEO asked me to see if any teams would be interested in a plotter for making large scale drawings up to size D. Note: must come pick up at company site in Oneonta NY.
It is a bit of a hike for us, but I know having just purchased one for my classroom that the decision is much easier knowing the make and model of the plotter.
Cost isn’t always the biggest function, but a free plotter that costs hundreds in ink each year can be a real drag. Also, knowing it’s print capabilities can be a deal maker too! My new one can print on fabric, foam core, cardboard, and thin sheet material with the right settings.
Here is a link to more info on the plotter, it is an HP Designjet T1120.
Proof that they are plotting against me.
Tentatively interested–I need to check with my tech department to see if we have room.
Edit: We do not. But thank you for the offer!
