The post topic says it all. When I downloaded the installer from Microsoft Edge, the result was a corrupted file. However the file was perfectly fine when I downloaded it off of Google Chrome. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and does anyone have an idea as to the cause of it?
We’ve had one or two people report that when you download the Phoenix installer using Edge it’s flagged and will not download completely unless you go into the Edge downloads menu and explicitly mark the file as “Keep”. We can also reproduce this locally.
We’ve filed a report with Microsoft to try and remove the (erroneous) flag and in the meantime the workaround is to use any other browser.
