The low point of our season:
“The ol backwards/forwards switcheroo!”
Team 2383 in Qual 17 at South Florida Regional. Driver and operator switched up their directions ::ouch::
We had 8 matches to repair our bent intake, but we managed to field a functioning robot in Qual 25 for our first win of the day.
After a slightly less bumpy ride through Quals, We sorted out our directions and went on to be regional finalists with 1744 and 3164! 
When you really need to talk to your Human Player.

During 2018flwp_qm45 6001’s coach apparently really needed to talk to his human player.

Simply put, these are the most synchronized auto shots you could ask for! From the timing of the turn of the robots, the time when they fire, the height that the cubes reach, and the way the scale stays perfectly still. Also, note the reaction of the ref in the lower left, priceless.
4643’s Legendary 4 Line Autonomous Mode
In the first 15 seconds of 2018idbo_qm42, 4643 managed to cross EACH alliance’s autonomous line TWICE before slamming into their own driver’s station. We must have spent 20 minutes at our scouting meeting watching this masterpiece. They would go on to fix their auto mode, landing the auto quest at every match they played after this one.

Finals 2 2018 PNW District Auburn Mountainview Event
This is the only time I remember seeing 1778 fall over this season (maybe I’m mistaken) and it couldn’t have come at a worse time for them. They played great though, and we’re looking forward to seeing them at the PNW District championship.

Yep, that is the only time we’ve tipped this season and plan to keep it that way! It ended up as a best case fall, the robot went over relatively gently, and the lift was extended such the shock of the fall was nicely distributed.

+1 Your submission is like a cheat code though! I thought my Gif was decent until I saw the blackout! So cool.
I’m just lucky I got the blackout first. But there’s some pretty good gifs here, and it ain’t over till it’s over.
Also, my favorite part of the blackout is that 624 still goes to climb, hooks on, and starts climbing, in the dark. That’s when you know you BALL SO HARD.

We really wanted that 4th RP Plus we had LEDs so we could see pretty well.
What’s interesting is I remeber hearing about a similr incident on FUN a while ago.

The red and blue alliances both get two cubes on the scale at the same time, leaving it balanced throughout auto.

Team 1533 took advantage of their one quals match where they were not assigned to hang at the end of the match. Most teams in this situation spin in place, but that would be a disservice to swerve! We spun, but translated in a straight line at the same time.
As a member of 3737 I remember this match and it was just amazing seeing this happen. I just wish that we got the switch in auto…
