Drill Motor

Hey guys I ran into a lil problem, Im using the Drill Motor and built in Trans. And I need to connect the 1/2 threaded drill shaft to a 5/8 keyed shaft. Im not 100% sure what parts ill need so if you guys could give me a lil help that would be great! Thanks Alot

They are all in the kit . . the 1" hex parts.

Theres one that screws onto the threaded drill tranny part, with a screw to hold it in place, theres a black connector to connect that to another hex shaft that has a bore on one side to accept a 5/8" keyed shaft.

In the kit there are 2 aluminum hex couplers that are 1/2 threaded on one side and 5/8 bore keyed on the other side. The threaded shaft will try to reverse out in one direction so I would pin it or JB weld it or both.

*edit - beat me to it Frank.

Hey I thanks a bunch, but one last thing, what is the size, shape, and color of theses parts Im looking for. You see some kids on the team have been fooling around and moved all the parts around the shop, so any discriptions or pictures of the parts would be very great. Thanks Again for all your help, and I really mean it!

The plastic pieces are black and the aluminum pieces are…metallic? gray? aluminumish?

You can see them here.

Hope that helps.
P.S. You shouldn’t need the JB weld if you use the two left hand screws. They are black cap head screw with lock tight on them (little blue drop) I believe they are 10-32’s.

Its always a good idea to inventory everything when you get it, so you know what you have, and what you are missing. Don’t let anyone play with things either, its a good way for them to break, or get lost. We are having this problem too…

Good Luck,
