When I look at the driver station it reads 17.7 as the voltage??? It doesn’t drop at all it just stays right at 17.7
Either you have it hooked up wrong, or you have the Battery of the Gods. Probably filled with Mountain Dew…
I admire your battery.
What does your handheld digital volt meter say is on the PD board main terminals?
I hooked it up to a power supply and it reads 9 volts (that’s what I set the power supply to) but the driver station still says 17.7 and won’t move from that
9 volts is awful low. could it be a bug with a battery with really low voltage?
No I set the power supply to 9.5 just to be safe cause I don’t like accidently setting it to high (it has a very sensitive dial) so setting it to 10 made the pdb 10 too
This made me laugh so hard…
Do you have the jumper on the breakout installed correctly?
Well the wire going to the breakout is reading 24 volts off a voltimeter and I haven’t touched the jumper since last year.
Wow… Did you hook the analog breakout board up to the 24V boost on the PD, or did you do it the right way and connect it to one of the standard 12V outlets?
Sorry we had a 24AC battery hooked up
Wait, a 24V AC battery?
Twas only a jest. It’s working now I had a loose wire and it just froze at that voltage for some reason so when I restarted the driver station it was 0 volts but all’s good.
Should it have even been at that voltage in the first place?
I let someone else take the reading they took it from the solenoid break out instead of the analog breakout (We have the 24 volt set up for our solenoids) so all is good also my teammates were the ones who posted the 24 ac thing while I was fixing it…yeah
