Driver Station Software/Screen Resolution issue

Hello Everyone,
I am having a problem with the Driver Station software and the screen resolution on my driver station netbook. I am not using the Classmate PC provided by FIRST, I am using a 10" ASUS netbook with an Intel Pineview Graphics Chip Accelerated VGA. I imaged it using the 2012 FRC Image E09 provided in the KOP. The screen resolution is 800x600 and it is grayed out so I cannot change it. I installed the FRC driver station and in previous years when you open it it automatically changes into fullscreen mode with the Dashboard and Driver Station. This time I opened it and the Driver Station and Dashboard just showed up as two windows too large for my screen, making them very difficult to use. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem with the driver station software and if they fixed it. Also, any idea why the screen resolution cant be changed? If you need more info or clarification just post them.

Thanks

The Classmate Image is designed to be used on a Classmate PC (E09 image for E09 Classmate and E11 for E11). Using it on another machine will result in driver’s which do not match the hardware. It sounds like you need to find and install an appropriate graphics driver for your machine.

I downloaded the correct driver and the screen resolution is god now so thanks for that. However the driver station software still shows up as two separate windows rather than the fullscreen mode. Any ideas there?

Is the account name “Driver”? The default Dashboard behaves differently if the account has that name so I assume the DS does the same.

Click the “M” and “D” buttons in the Driver Station display and see if one of them makes it do what you want.
