We just left the Southington District Event where we were told that there was a driver station update recently released. So now that I am home I am looking for it and I can’t seem to find it. Anyone know where I can download it from?
Thanks.

I was also at Southington and heard the same thing and also cannot find an update. Perhaps this is a bad rumor or misunderstanding? I don’t know. Anyone have an answer?
There was no mention of any DS update on the CSA call this week and no e-mail sent to CSAs. We did get an e-mail on Wednesday about the C++ update that resolves the potential Network Tables lockups mentioned in a few other threads here.
Seems unlikely. I’m guessing this was a misunderstanding/rumor that grew legs.
I was told about the update by the FTA. I would expect that he would know… And that he would not send us looking for an update that did not exist. I do recall something about a C++ update for the network tables but I thought it was voptional. Since we do not touch those tables I didn’t worry about it. I will look for that and bring it just in case. Thanks
I found info on described as a SmartDashboard update (actually the download is a Workbench update). It can be downloaded here: http://first.wpi.edu/FRC/c/update/Stable/
There is more info about it on this thread: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126102&page=4
It does say it is optional but I am bringing it with me to the competition and plan to ask the FTA about it.
FYI I spoke to the FTA this morning and apparently he was under the false impression that there had been a driver station update released. So to clarify, there is no update that we need.
To confirm, there are a few known issues related to Kinect and Cypress LED in the DS version released at kickoff, but no updates have been released or even planned.
