What’s the procedure for changing gear Ratios on SDS modules? Speaking specifically about the purchasing options. Thanks!
It looks like you can find links to buy new gears from the swerve drive specialty parts list document. Here’s the link, and it can be found from the page for the MK4i module. It shows which gears to buy for which gear ratios, and has individual links to every gear you could use.
The parts list spreadsheet has the gears listed for L1-4, but I’ve not observed the individual gears listed as “in stock” recently on the SDS website. We picked up our first set of swerve modules over the summer, and I check intermittently in hopes that we’ll be able to expand from the L1 gear option.
Some gears are in stock for individual purchase. We have some amount of all the gears on hand, but based on quantities all of certain gears are reserved for complete module kits. All gears will be in stock for individual purchase around the beginning of February.
