We just got our NEO Vortex motors in and were just trying to run them through the REV Hardware Client but I am getting a EEPROM Fault when I try to run the motor. (Voltage) I can’t really tell what this error is or how to correct it and don’t see much on it in the REV documentation. Any help or ideas is appreciated!
Double check that your docking screws are fully installed. If the Motor Interface Connector may not be fully seated if the screws are not installed. This usually presents as a Sensor Fault, but the motor also has an EEPROM to store motor-specific parameters.
Does the fault stay active, preventing the motor from spinning, or is it just listed as sticky (no longer active)?
Hi,
I am also having the same issue.
Tightened the screws and tried resetting too.
Just tried a different spark flex, that didn’t fix it. So it seems like the motor might be bad.
A few more questions:
- What firmware version are your two Flexes on?
- What version is the Hardware Client?
- As asked before, does this fault stay active or is it just sticky?
- It is on the most recent version. 22.4 I believe
- I just updated the Client as well
- It is sticky but comes back after I run the motor
