Emulating robot networking

Is there a way to emulate the network of a robot? Specifically, I wanted to know if smart dashboard could be emulated. I wanted to test vision, but our roborio is on the robot, and I don’t know if what I wrote I works.

EDIT: I’m working on getting the video stream to smart dashboard.

I just tried this, having a camera plugged into your computer and letting vscode simulate the robot, will grab the camera and the dashboard will show it.

If you have a ton of free time, and an understanding of networking, you could build a roborio emulator like I did for my team.
