So on page 37 for scoring, it says that an objective to gain one ranking point in a match is to gain at least 65 endgame points. Prior to that, it has endgame points as an award, and of course, lists down what it is awarded for gaining it which is under hanging, parking, and leveling points. However, looking at the glossary for the definition of endgame it was stated that it would just be the last 30 seconds of teleop period during the match. There is no direct definition in the glossary for endgame points specifically, but could endgame points also just count with regular scoring in teleop for the endgame period by any chance ? (
That’s highly unlikely
You can’t even try for the endgame points before the endgame starts, per G17–and a Tech Foul will wipe out the Level points.
In the point values section of the manual, Endgame points are defined as points from a hang, park, or level generator switch.

What I meant was the definition of endgame points. As endgame is just the period within the last 30 seconds of teleop, and although in the scoring in page 37 there’s an award for that scoring, there doesn’t seem to be an exact definition in the glossary. I do believe it’s highly unlikely but in simplest terms do you think scoring power cells during endgame period would count as ‘endgame’ points.
In Table 4-2, one of the categories is ENDGAME Points, and this is what I believe counts for the RP.

This is what we’ve perceived, but just curious if there’s any chance whatsoever.
Yeah, it was my understanding based off of the capitalization of the ENDGAME points and the way that the RP requirement (Shield Generator Operational) below uses the same capitalization.
The way it is currently written you could make an argument that it is all points scored during the ENDGAME period (which could include CELLs and CONTROL PANEL), since only ENDGAME is defined. I suspect the intent was only HANG/PARK/LEVEL points and that it will be clarified in the first update.

Although I can’t find a specific rule that says that cell scoring won’t contribute to endgame points, I wouldn’t count on this for strategic planning. It will probably be cleared up in an update.
