Since you have now gotten a very serious discussion I feel better posting my potentially meme answer.
The reason why the Bemidji Regional was not getting approved was obviously the name.
Northland has the best regional names in FIRST with Lake Superior, Northern Lights, 10,000 Lakes, Granite City, North Star and Great Northern. Bemidji does not pass the vibe check.
Second place for names is the South East Region. Arkansas is a bit boring but Bayou, Magnolia, Rocket City and Smoky Mountains do a lot of heavy lifting.
