So, I have to go shopping this weekend for things for Atlanta, and I’m wondering what everyone here considers essential items that no one should be without when attending The Championship event, or just leaving home for an extended period.
Clothes, accessories, things for the plane/bus/car ride… you name it!
What are you planning on bringing?

Duct tape and super glue, but only for the things that you break while at Championships :ahh: or did that slip your memory…

PRETTY IMPORTANT:
–duh, your robot
–duh, extra batteries. That’s a crying shame when your robot runs out of juice (bring along 8 jigawatts worth…)
–duh, your knee pads to grovel when borrowing parts and tools from other teams since you forgot everything at home
–clothing; like lots of layers since it could be 30-80 degrees (F that is)
–safety-consciousness all the way around (not just in the pits)

at least one of those collapsing chairs for the pit. Having a nice chair in your pit area is priceless (esp when you are working on your code).
this year i think im going to have to leave my leatherman home… I don’t want to check a bag and I’m traveling alone. Which reminds me! Make sure you remind everyone to not try to get on a plane with one! :rolleyes:
