Looking back at the past years, what was your favorite challenge. Personally, I liked ‘Double Trouble’ the best. While the floppies caused a lot of trouble for some teams, there were a lot of things on the field to do (i.e. control the puck, climb the puck, pick up floppies, raise floppies, etc.). Also, there were bonuses for raising having the puck on one side of the field. While I think this challenge was better for the two teams as I feel there was more strategy involved I think that this years challenge inspired the best robot designs yet. How bout you?

My favorite challenge would have to be Double Trouble. I am a huge fan of the King of the Mountain concept, machines beating each other up to get the big points and so forth. Sure you had the same sort of concept this year, but to me the ramp wasn’t worth as much, there for there wasn’t as much of a reason to fight for it, not to mention the size of it made it a bit easier to climb. Also I liked Ramp N Roll in 95 due to the fact that the goal was on top of the hill. So half the match was concentrated on that hill. Tumbling robots and such made it exciting, even for a simple game. I sure hope that we see more mountains or platforms in the future.
