I was watching week 1 events and thought there were some really cool robots but I don’t have the time to watch every match, I would love to hear about or see robots everyone thought had unique or really good mechanisms.

Well, the obvious choice is 330 and 118’s robots. But I also saw some ramp bots that were really cool. I saw one from Montreal Regional, I forgot which team number but I know it started with 33 - something.
7447’s robot was incredibly simple, yet incredibly effective.

I definitely have to say I hopped on the 2910 bandwagon after seeing them at champs last year. I noticed a team during one of their matches, 2147 CHUCK, their level 2 climb just makes me so happy .
CHUCK has a great bot. I expect them to go far at West Valley in a couple weeks.
5401 working for those extra 3 points everyone else wrote off.

Of course, 2910 - they’re just fun to watch and they’re in our district.
But I want to add 7447 at Orange County. When I first saw them, it was what’s that? As I watched them however, they chose an objective and implemented a beautifully simple solution that worked great. What a great accomplishment for a rookie team.

After watching countless matches, I would have to say that 973 had one of the best robots right from the start of practice matches. While I would have immediately said 118, I feel like 973 just had some of the cleanest matches and some very fast cycle times compared to 118.
3647 is just too fun to watch!
