Feed Forward Characterization

Hello Everyone,

I am a programmer on team 4829. This year, we were wondering how teams characterize the feed forward values (S, V, A) for the swerve drive motors since SysID has not been updated. Have teams been using their own custom feed forward characterization classes or some other alternative?

Any help/input is greatly appreciated!

Can you explain what you mean by this? SysID is different this year because there aren’t pre-canned projects, but there’s definitely people using it successfully.

Sorry, I am not very familiar with SysID. What I can say is that we ended up using a feed forward characterization class to get some of the values.
