Female Shooters

I was just wondering how many female shooters there were at this years competiton ! :slight_smile:

Team 60’s human player was a lovely young lady named Amanda.

We had several females on our team pratice shooting. One was our best shooter. Go Annette! :slight_smile:

Our “real” human player (Mike) was amazing at our first regional but couldn’t make it to the second, so I filled in for him.

It was sort of a last-minute thing, so I won’t say I did particularly well, but I um…I held my own. =)

Team 900 had a female shooter.

Yeah, our shooter (Team 900) had an awesome female shooter. Thanks a bunch Brittany for all you help and devotion.

Our team had one male and one female human player. Our female shooter, Katie, shared the responsibility at Philadelphia and was our exclusive human player at Nats. Katie shot better than 90% at both events. She was also a human player last year for Stack Attack.

We had a female shooter as well. She was pretty much amazing from Philly onward. She was our Human player last year, so, since our team doesn’t seem to hold tryouts for anything, she was our human player :-D. We got lucky, tho.

team 716 had a great female human player she only missed about 2 all UTC regional

I don’t remember what team number (possibly team 358???)… They wore yellow shirts and they had a female shooter… I saw her at the Long Island Regional… She was just as tall if not taller than me… AND I’M 6’4"!!! She was so tall and very accurate!!!

our human player in the competitions wound up being male, however I was the back-up…

way to go to all female [and male] human players

As I recall, 1006 had a female shooter in Atlanta. She was really good, too.

Yeah she saved our butts BIG TIME in Qualification 120 on Archimedes.

The video doesn’t really focus on her really, but she basically made every shot given, and broke the stalemate of two hanging robots wide open. Just look at the shot of the stationary goals at the end of the match. Very clutch… very nice =).

Team 5’s current driver was our human player last year. She is awsome! So - we have a male as our human player but a female for our driver! :slight_smile:

well after all of our tryouts for our human player, the human player that came out on top is a girl and she was awesome the whole year from BAE to UTC to nationals she was awesome. :smiley:

We had a female shooter.

team 93 in Galelio had a female shooter… the robot was a ball cather and collector… the bot and the human player worked out really nicely… she had her own rhyme and made almost every single ball that she shot… it was very nice to watch a human player like her…

“who says… guys are better than girls… they are always competiting with us… and keeping up with us…”

Team #9 had a female human player as well, she was really good. She was even better than our male human player, at least i saw it that way.

I saw her at BAE and UTC as well. She was solid at both competitions. Definitely one of the best out there. Our human player wasn’t too bad either :wink: (yea Carmelo!)
