The team told me to go make a post on ChiefDelphi asking these questions. They said we might get a faster response then doing it through the FIRST question system. Sorry if these have been asked countless times, but they seem like logical questions to me.
If you use the automatic loading stations, do you have to leave the loading area and return to get another one? Is it against the rules to site there and grab them without having to move? We realize the rules say you have to move from loading stations to use it again, but they wanted to be sure.
This one I do not know much about, so I will try and ask it to the best way I can. Do all the tetras have the metal tips on them? It seems there are some diagrams of them with them, and others without them.
And this one is a personal question, and I am sure it has been asked before, but wanted to just get it in here. During the kickoff a scripting language of some sort was mentioned. How can I start messing with this, or using it? Where are the files/etc I am going to need to use it. Is it its own new application, or is it a plug in for MP LAB. I was confused by FIRSTS website. And I cant seem to find anything relating to it. Thank you, for any questions anybody attempts to answer. My team greatly appreciates it.
you have to leave the loading station to get a new tetra that goes for the auto and human station.
2 there are only 2 types of tetras vision and regular the vision ones are the ones with the green boards for the sencors and weigh 12.5 lbs the regular ones can be hung by the magnets and there is no difference between the ones on the loaders and the hanging ones that have been showen yet.
Keep in mind that while sometimes you may have simple cut and dry questions that people on CD can easily point you to answers for, others are questions that are all matters of point of view, and they should be sent to FIRST through the Q&A site.
There is one tiny difference between the hanging tetras and the regular tetras. Those washers that FIRST told us about are on one corner of those tetras, thus facilitating the magnets holding them up.
But at least it’s pretty obvious to spot them. Otherwise field reset would be having a field day.
