Yeah, I didn’t know when I would be home. I haven’t done really any special scouting yet, anyway.
One of the difficulties with IRI is that you don’t know what driveteams teams will use. That is why my top picks would have been teams without a steep learning curve to drive (469), teams that always take IRI very seriously (1625) and teams that have done really well at smaller offeseason events (33 and 1718).
Instead I’ll test my knowledge by trying to predict who wins this league.
I took 1718 after watching them dominate IRI jr (aka MARC).
That’s one good thing about going to so many event: you get exposed to teams that most people never even heard of.
My round 2 target will be a team no one is thinking of.

On a somewhat related note, with all of the no-shows, I was wondering if a rule for next year could either mandate listing or posting a “confirmation post” the day of the draft saying you’ll be there for a live pick, and if you submitted neither you could be pre-emptively eliminated.
