There are a handful of rookie teams that may shuffle from one event to another due to logistical/balance/points issues. I believe MAR was in contact with these teams last week and is waiting for everything to be set in stone.
(I’ll bug Akash about this, I believe his team was one of those contacted.)
Requests to move from Mount Olive (week6) to either Rutgers, Lenape, or Horsham were sent out two days ago.
While my team is not willing to budge from our schedule, I do believe other rookies/veterans will be moving around. But it should only really be 3 to 4 teams. Currently 45 teams are signed up for Mt Olive which is a 42 team event.
We can do the drafts now, and then just make corrections later. Drafters are responsible for their own picks and should be watching team lists on their own.
That’s how we did it last year when MI and Seattle had major shuffles near and after the end of the draft season. There’s even a special case in the rules for how to handle a double event shuffle.
Just remember: any team adding after an event’s draft goes to waiver once they’re noticed. This gives everyone a chance to claim the team (we’ve had a few powerhouse alliances built from adds).
