We’re back, and working on making it better than ever!

As a reminder, everybody drafts an alliance of 3 (or more) teams per event (or district system), no more than 5 players per team, miss 6 drafts in a row and get a warning about how you need to start showing up before you are removed from the league.

The rules, for reference.

Now, I should note that we’re working on a few items, notably cleaning up the waiver system and adjusting the scoring. Take a look at this thread to follow what’s being discussed. Everything should be cleared up (and the rules updated again) before drafting begins.

And as a reminder, drafting starts around Thanksgiving and ends around Kickoff. Schedule will be determined as events are announced.

First, I would like to say thank you to Pratik Kunapuli, a great friend and fellow mentor of mine, for his contributions to the team. He did some great work last year, but will not be returning to the 2018 edition of the group.

Second, I would like to update our roster to include Saikiran Ramanan from 3476, Code Orange. We are excited to welcome him to the team in our pursuit for back to back titles.

It was a pleasure to play with Casey, Ahad, and Devlin on FIRST Pick, but I feel it is in the best interests of all of us for me to split off and form my own team. They’re a great group of people who have been an absolute blast to interact with and I wish them luck for the 2018 season.

If I add a team to the roster am I allowed to update its name later? Or should I just wait until we know what our team name is going to be?

All team details (roster, name, etc) can be updated any time prior to Thanksgiving. At the same time, there is pretty much zero value to posting earlier rather than later, so it’s no real difference.
