I will point out that its pretty weird to be drafting before the hosts have posted the updated ruleset, but I guess we have to trust that “no drastic rule changes” actually means no drastic rule changes.

Is there a finalized team list yet? I thought it was still in flux.

I’m not sure what you mean by this… Your original post said the draft date is the 7th. I’ve only read over the rules once so far, so let me know if I’m missing something.

From my limited experience in FF, the draft basically works like you can pick until the set time on said date. So the first pick can make his pick right now, or 30 seconds before that deadline. Once that deadline hits, his pick will be randomized and the system will move on to the second pick. If he picks in 20 mins, the second pick can be made immediately after. Basically its first come first serve so long as you dont pick after the set time.
