FF Palmetto 2006

Well, since the payment deadline has come and gone, I figure it’s pretty much safe to start a league for Palmetto.

Standard FF scoring applies:

20…1st seed
12…2nd and 3rd seed
6…4th through 8th
3…9th through 12th
2…12th through 16th

4…Quarter finalists
10…Semifinalists
20…Finalists
30…Winners

42…Chairmans
36…Engineering Inspiration Award

15…Rookie All-Star
10…Rooke Inspiration
8…Woodie Flowers

2…Win(s)
-2…Loss(es)
1…Tie(s)
8…Highest score / Highest Rookie Seed

5… Judges Award
2…for every non-placement award, except previously mentioned

There’ll be 14 players, three teams each.

Additionally, while you’re signing up, would anyone be opposed to running the drafting completely off lists, instead of with a live draft? After my last experience with live drafts (the Pre-Season league) and the varied internet problems of people, I think things might be smoother that way.

I think we can get all the drafting done at one time on Monday night. No trading or late drafting. (ducks)

Is anyone opposed to a lists-only draft, just to keep everyone from having to refresh the thread every 12.93 seconds?

We’ll start with clockless drafting–just draft when it’s your turn. Once we get closer to Palmetto, I’ll set up a schedule to round it out. A slight note, though: any unfilled slots at the trading deadline (tentatively midnight Eastern the Wednesday night before) will incur a score of -25. (Since teams can score in negative amounts, a score of zero has the potential to be beneficial.) So make sure that you get a list in if you’re going to be MIA during the clock rounds!

The current list is at http://www.usfirst.org/frc/map/index.lasso?page=event_teamlist&event=SC&year=2006&area=

Show some love to 818.
