After the success of the IRI Auction League I am going to run a Season Long Auction draft league. There will be one draft at the beginning of the season where each owner picks 7 teams. I am looking at 14-18 owners for this league.
No way I’m winning this time though… with a less than great knowledge of every team in the nation (as opposed to every IRI team), and no Chief Delphi to go for relatively few points but perform amazingly, this will be a really interesting draft. Of course, keeping quiet your own sleeper teams should be easier now.
How will scoring work? Is it advantageous to pick a team going to more regionals / a michigan team?
My idea for scoring will be the total score that a player has divided by the total number of regionals/districts/state championship that the teams that player owns has attended.
I am not sure about the scoring yet, but I would just say that I am leaning toward not having awards count for points. It would be similar to the Michigan State Championship point system
