Here’s the deal. I don’t have a ton of time right now, so this one ends on Tuesday. I’ll post the actual times as we get closer, but it’s open for making claims (in an orderly fashion) now. As a reminder, you need the event, tier, team out, and team in to have a valid claim–or you can just bow out.

I plan to put times on sometime Monday or Tuesday, for reference.

Neither TBA nor the FIRSTINSPIRES website indicates that 108 is registered for 10k lakes. Am I missing something or should they be listed for smokey mountains instead?

Probably a mistype or bad sort, I’ll take a look at what’s going on when I get a chance. For now assume Smoky.

On another note, 7313 should be listed for rocket city rather than SF.

Actually… none of the above.

108 is the state of a Czech Republic team attending 10K. When I grab lists I try to make sure I’ve scrubbed all those out (due to the method, it can get interesting) and I missed that one.

I’m not sure what happened with 7313.

Both 108 and 7313 were on the initial lists or the last waiver, and therefore are off this one. Updating the original post with the current waiver status.

This one is postponed indefinitely. Rest assured that the Key Committee is working diligently to figure out a path forwards. (We seem to have run into one of Murphy’s Laws–my reference has it as #8–along with Cutler-Webster’s Law, Dow’s Law, Mencken’s Law, and Zalenski’s Law of Evolving Thermodynamics.)

We will come up with an answer, at some point.

After much debate, we have a solution.

We’re going to rewind the draft to before TBC’s pick, rule out picking any of the teams that got left off the list, and finish this one up tonight. The 7(!) teams that got missed will be on Waiver #3 next weekend. I’ll make sure of that, personally. (This time without screwing up, hopefully…)

This was judged to be a better–or at least more palatable–option than either redrafting the whole thing or continuing as-is.
