The driver’s stations at Tippecanoe were wrong, I believe (Red 1 was facing the boiler not the loading zone).
After you asked, the field crew was able the readjust the Loading Stations before Quals started and the center of the lip on the field sides were Red 25 3/16", 25 1/16" and Blue 25 1/8", 25 3/16" and it was remeasured periodically as breaks allowed, like pre-matches on Friday and Saturday and before Playoffs, and the tolerances remained the same throughout the event.
However, when the robots pushed with force against the loading station wall, I would be willing to bet that might make the loading slide ride up just a little bit. Not much from what I could tell, but there was no way to measure active hits on the wall like that.
Just for reference this seemed to be the case at the Pitt NC event as well. The farthest most red alliance Loading Station appeared a bit out of spec (never got a measurement sadly). Part of it may have been that the back leg of the station was propped up on foam. Latter in the event there appeared to be shims underneath the front legs. Then during eliminations the field crew ripped it off of the field and attempted to rejigger it.
Unfortunately we were never able to receive gears from it successfully after the rejiggering, but we can use that as an opportunity to inspire a more robust design for our next competition
