Since 2016 we have been hard at work keeping FindRobotParts.com up to date. Last year we redesigned the site to make it easier to use. We have been regularly adding new products as we come across them. We just added over 20 new products. These products include gear boxes, wheels, motors, 3d printed models, and more.

How complicated would it be to scrape price from your linked sites?

The entire site is managed by hand. We don’t scrape anything because there is no standard way to gather the data. In some cases the data isn’t even on the pages and we need to email the vendor or calculate the information ourselves (such as the available reductions on a gearbox when only the gear sizes are listed).
Pricing is very similar. Some pages have multiple products on a page and we would then have to find the specific product. Basically it would turn into a scrapper that would not only be specific to each site but also to many individual components. Other times a range is listed but that range could be for just a gear in a gearbox, is that really the lower range for a gearbox? For this reason we chose to only include data that is not likely to change. Additionally we don’t want to be responsible for another company saying the price should X because we said it was X when it is really Y.
I have to say this site is a boon. Thank you. I spent a lot of time over the weekend looking for #10 gussets. I did not know this site existed, but now that I do, It will be my go to.
