FIRST and WPI Gam Jam Starts Saturday 11/7!

The FIRST Game Jam, presented by WPI starts this Saturday!

What is a Game Jam?

Game jams, like hackathons, are events where teams develop a prototype video game around a certain theme or prompt. Teams often consist of people interested in learning programming, designing, creating art, writing, and performing music and sound. No experience is necessary to get involved!

For more info, check out our launch video.

Who can participate?

Anyone can participate; current FIRST students, mentors, alumni, event volunteers, parents, or people of any age who want to participate and learn more about FIRST! The goal of this game jam is to celebrate FIRST and its vision and mission by having current, past, and prospective FIRST participants create a video game concept. Teams can be collaborative - no need to limit your team to existing teammates or programs… you don’t even need to limit yourself to one team.

And don’t worry, your FIRST team does not have be registered for 2020 to participate.
