Oh no! In late 2014 I bought a set of FIRST branded LED light bulbs as part of a team fundraiser.
I’ve used the bulb almost nonstop in my front porch since last moving into my current house 5.5 years ago. Today, that bulb has burned out.
The box says the bulb has an expected lifetime of 25,000 hours and a 10 year warranty. Fortunately the bulb made it to about 48,000 hours.
I went to go install a new FIRST Cree light bulb and this one doesn’t power on at all! Guess it was a dud. Called the Cree warranty department today and their office hours are only 1.5 hours per day. Guess I’ll have to try calling them back for my warranty claim on Monday!
