Greetings FIRST Championship Teams:

The upcoming FIRST Championship, April 16-18, promises to be the ultimate celebration of science and technology as the FIRST community gathers at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. We will host 344 teams for the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Championship, 100 teams for the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) World Championship, and 80 teams for the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) World Festival. That’s over 10,000 students and 5,000 mentors celebrating their accomplishments while experiencing the thrill of science and technology.

In addition to the competition rounds, the event will feature:

  • Exciting ceremonies with great presenters including Dean Kamen and Woodie Flowers, and a three-program International Robot Parade

  • Over 35 FIRST Conference Workshops

  • Hall of Fame display of previous FRC Chairman’s Award teams

  • Scholarship Row featuring more than 25 FIRST Scholarship providers

  • Supplier Showcase providing opportunity to meet and thank more than 15 FRC Kit of Parts Suppliers

  • FIRST Alliance and Sponsor displays

  • Commemorative FIRST merchandise available for purchase

  • Aerial Robotics Program

  • And a spectacular FIRST Finale on Saturday night in Centennial Olympic Park
