**FIRST Email**/2010 FRC Season Team and KoP Surveys/Follow-up WPI Survey

Greetings Teams:

We want your team’s feedback regarding FRC and the Kit of Parts (KoP). We value team input and ask that you direct this email to two different members of your team.

Please invite your engineering mentor and/or your team captain to visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MDZSLCH to share his/her input on the KoP.

Please invite your team leader to visit <see Team Main Contact for link> to share his/her input on FRC support, events and program elements.

If you have trouble clicking on either link, copy the url and paste it into your web browser.

Both surveys open today and close June 16th. We intend to use your input to improve the KoP and the 2011 FRC season. Thank you very much for your time!

If you (or someone on your team) completed the WPI survey sent to teams in January (see email blast here http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/content.aspx?id=16477, please make sure they complete the follow up survey.

The SurveyMonkey link does seem to be working for me. Did the cut/paste into the browser, tried both Chrome and IE but I always get the SurveyMonkey’s home page.

Should be better now.
The word “to” got dragged in at the end of the path.

P.S.
Here’s a copy of the team leader survey to share his/her input on FRC support, events and program elements, so you can all see what’s not linked. Now go out and bug your team’s Main Contact to answer this survey.

A few of the interesting survey questions:**5. Does your FRC team support, partner or mentor robotics teams outside of FIRST? **(Coopertition?)**28. If you had the option to choose, would your team prefer Bag & Tag or FedEx shipping next year?****32. Would you want your state/region to adopt the District Model?****33. Do you prefer a two day event or a three day event?****41. If FRC set up a ‘virtual mentor’ program where teams in need are connected via the internet to remote subject matter experts, would your team… **(sounds like Chief Delphi)**43. If FIRST were to develop pay-to-play on line virtual competitions would members of your team be interested in participating? **(needs virtual engineering design incorporated…)****44. If FIRST were to expand into science and technology programs beyond robots, would members of your team be interested in participating?****I’ve also added the KOP survey (mentor version).

Much better, thanks Mark!

I expect EVERY TEAM to do this!

As my mother always said, if you don’t vote, you forfeit the right to complain if things don’t go your way.
