I did this lat year, but didn’t get any responses from those I set up in TIMS. Does anyone know if their people got the certificates and pins?

This was asked for so many ways last year that we all got three certificates & pins each!

The names were misspelled different ways on each certificate, so we could tell they were generated from different lists. I’m pretty sure FIRST asked so many times that different team members ended up responding.
I submitted (Main Contact), my Alternate submitted, and our student president submitted.
I know one of the lists was from Championships in Atlanta, because the unique misspellings can be traced to a particular student.:slight_smile:

I don’t like how the TIMS system takes mentors, because I can’t double check to see if I’ve included everyone. I entered them a couple of months ago, but haven’t seen anything come back in TIMS.

I also predict that I’ll never be able to click this button in TIMS:**Roster Done? **Please confirm that the roster of student team members is complete and accurate, and that all Consent & Release forms have been completed.
There’s no control I can exercise over the student or parent to insure that they both complete the online form. Right now I only have one completed and three incomplete forms and I can’t tell who to nag about what.

Im with you on that one, though we are in a slightly better position.
All of our students have applied, and all have been accepted, but about half lack the consent portion.

We cannot find an easy way to email all the parents who have yet to sign the form, and there is no way to view parents who are not tied to students. Nor can we find a button that allows us to resend the consent email.

Count me in on the Roster problems. I thought that as a parent, I’d get an email asking me to complete the process for my son. I’ve seen nothing. Of the 7 students who have put their info. in so far, only one is completed.

When I tried to get into the system to complete my son’s release, I was told by the system that my email address was already in use. I’m guessing because I’m in TIMS with the same email. At this point, I can’t even exercise control over my own son’s dad!

I am a Main Contact and a parent. I used a second email to convince the system I could be both. It worked.

I also agree with the mentor tracking issue, but this is a system still in process.
