**FIRST EMAIL**/Robot Ship Date Quickly Approaching!

Greetings Teams:

Robot Ship Date is: next Tuesday, February 19th, 2008!

NEW Request for Robot Removal from Team’s last event (i.e., if you want to take your robot home with you - this is a must read!)
Refer to Section 4.9.1. of the Competition Manual. Please email frcteams@usfirst.org with your request. It is due no later than February 15, 2008.

Shipping using the FedEx Donation
Refer to the “Robot Shipping” page located at http://www.usfirst.org/frc_robot_shipping. Please read these pages very carefully to insure you adhere to and understand all of the guidelines and instructions. Since FedEx is a worldwide company, the specific FedEx representative that you speak with when scheduling a pickup will most likely not be aware of all the shipping regulations and guidelines under the FedEx donation to *FIRST *teams. Therefore, we ask that teams contact *FIRST *with any questions outside of scheduling a pickup.

Shipping Verification
*FIRST *requires verification of the shipment of each teams robot crate for the initial shipment only. Please refer to Sections 4.9.4 and 4.9.5 on how to verify your team’s initial shipment.
Don’t forget - Teams are responsible for tracking their robot crate(s) to ensure it has arrived at its destination on time!

Consecutive Weekend Events
Teams cannot use the FedEx donation to ship from consecutive (i.e., “back-to-back”) events. Teams must use and make arrangements with Shepard Exposition Services. Refer to Section 4.9.7. for full details.
