Are your students looking for something fun to do this summer? Lake Superior State University in Michigan, which houses one of the best robotics labs in the United States, is offering FIRST participants scholarship opportunities if selected for any of its summer camps.
Full scholarships are available to young FIRST women selected for the Women in Technology program. Partial scholarships are available to young FIRST men selected for any Robot Camp. The camps are one-week, on-campus programs which include hands-on experience with computer programming, industrial robots, automation, data acquisition, computer animation, electronics, and Web page development. The camps also include several recreational activities.
