Wow teams! What a great 2005 robotics season this has been! We hope you have enjoyed this year’s game and events as much as we have. We had a great time seeing you all at the regionals and many of you at the Championship event. Please take a moment to go to the website and check out the gallery of photographs from the Championship. Just click on www.usfirst.org
To our veteran teams, thank you all for your continued and unflagging support. Whether this was your second season or your 14th, you are the core of the FIRST Robotics Competition success story. It is through your loyalty and commitment that the FIRST mission is achieved, and as the old saying goes, “we couldn’t do it without you!”
We also want to thank and commend our rookie teams for making it through the first and hardest season. You have earned the right going forward to claim the elite status of “veteran" team. Congratulations! We hope to see each and every one of you in 2006.
Here in New Hampshire the trees are getting green, the flowers are blooming, and we are “buzzing” with our own creative forces. Energized from this past season, we will be doubling our efforts to bring you an even better 2006. Please stay tuned as information on team forums, event registration, and regional event schedules will be coming your way.
Finally, we are pleased to share with you the 2006 Atlanta Championship dates, which are April 27, 28 and 29. Please mark you calendars accordingly. Information on eligibility criteria and hotels will be available at a later date.
We wish you all a fantastic summer, and look forward to seeing you next season.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look good for me next year. The Championship happens to be during the first half of finals week at USC. Well, unless I draw a miracle with course registrations and get all my finals on the *other *exam days.
Trees are getting green - camera will make a return in 06
Flowers Booming - Woodie has lots of new ideas.

By no means do I intend to take the spotlight off the almighty Car Nack
2005 FRC Championships occurred smack in the middle of our State accountability testing. Only Texas teams present either took only seniors or managed to clear a lot of red tape for alternative testing dates/locations.
A check of the Texas Education Agency Website gives the following dates for the 2005 - 2006 testing schedule
April 18th - 21st
FIRST Championship event in Atlanta the following week April 27th - 29th.
