Pretty cool. http://www2.usfirst.org/2003comp/gallery/ for all those who don’t get the FIRST public list. It should have been bigger. Out of the hundreds of teams there, that gallery only had about 40 pictures on it maybe. You can get the showing of FIRST on CNN vid and the Championship video. That was great. My only complaint is the horrid compression. 320x240 resolution is ewwy. I mean, I understand why…but does anyone know where I could get a copy of that in 640x480 @ 100kbit/sec?

ONLY one? Most teams aren’t on there at all…
If it counts for anything, I was on the field (we were next match) when that picture was taken :), I have one of it too… (from behind players station). The closest we have to a picture is about a 2 1/2 second shot of our driver, Jeremy, in the background during alliance selections. I know it was him because of where we were

awsome concept though it was long overdue! Maybe if they keep adding things like that (Flash stuff, pictures, videos) publicity will go up.

I imagine FIRST hired photographers to take them. I saw several on the field, and had to weave through them a few times when walking to our driver station. They normally took pictures each time we went up there, and sometimes even talked to us. Judging from the number I saw, and their activity, I presume they had a lot of pictures to look through before deciding on the ones they did! Maybe that is why it didn’t come out 'till now.
Anyway, I applaud FIRST for this. I think it’s really neat

I remember her, she stopped by our pit and took lots of pics of MOE and the other teams around us. She was taking pics by the driver station that had team 25 in it during the final match i think.

Thats just awesome, but I agree they should add more to it.
Yes it must be the hair, or the stirring patriotism…
I also agree they should add more pictures.
I want to know where all of the pictures went that all those photographers were taking. I know i got my picture taken a bunch of times cuz they kept asking for my name and stuff.
I’d love to see first put up like a huge gallery of all the pictures taken, wouldn’t have to be a fancy flash interface like this one which is obviously a corperate recruitment tool, but just all of the nice professionaly shot photos.
