False. If anything, after 1848, Minnesota is the place that stole a bunch of OUR territory.

Is there any recorded video of the Great Northern playoffs? I noticed TBA has the qualification matches, but not the elimination ones.
I have some stuff coming. Please stand by.
4818 was livestreaming on Facebook our alliance for some of our matches during playoffs. They focus more on our alliance, but it’s something at least.
+1. I completely agree with this statement. Minnesota is really a part of Wisconsin. I vote “FiW” which will cause less confusion.
Back in 1836 - 1848, the current states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and parts of the Dakotas were called the Wisconsin Territory.
Nope. The Gophers are from the U of MN.

MSHSL State Championship rankings for week 1 are up! http://mnfirst.org/off-season-events/mshsl-championship/
Just wanted to hop in here before Week 2 begins and give a big thanks to Russ, Mary, and the entire RPC of the inaugural Great Northern Regional. You all ran such a fantastic event! The venue was great, the meals were great, the competition was great… Needless to say, everything was great. How fitting for the *Great * Northern Regional eh?
I also had an amazing time volunteering as a game announcer for my first regional event! Big thanks to Yoji and my trainer Sydney for teaching me and helping me refine my performance throughout the weekend!
I hope to return up to Grand Forks next year! After how well it went this year, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2019.
Join with WI, ND, (Edit: the CST half of) SD, and IA to make a “Midwest District” and then call the district championship the “Midwest Regional (championship)”. Make sure it’s in Week 6.
Just a thought… check the SD team distribution before lumping them in. Current score for events hosting SD teams: Denver 1, everywhere else 0. Something about closest event to the only SD teams. (Last year that was Denver 2, everywhere else 0.)
There will probably be a push to get some more teams along the I-29 corridor for SD with the addition of Great Northern (Sioux Falls, Watertown, Huron, etc.). But as of now you are correct.
From what I caught, 2 teams from Minnesota in the top 25 on the FUN Network: 5172 and 4539. Both programs are more than deserving! Great job so far, can’t wait to compete with both of you in the coming weeks!
No doubt, running into 5172 and 4539 in your first finals match is a daunting challenge. We’re striving to get to their caliber.
You guys impressed the heck out of me this year. I had the opportunity to inspect your robot, and it was really well built. I have no doubt that as your team grows and gains more experience that you’ll be a force to reckon with in Minnesota!
Every team in Minnesota should be striving to reach the levels that these teams have reached - both teams have incredible mentors and a process that puts out the best robots in MN each year. 5638 is close - what you are doing down there in Madison is incredible. I hope we can qualify for state so that we can compete with you guys!
State Rankings for week 2 are posted! The Double DECCer was a great event!
Edit: Oops… didn’t realize Heartland was running on Sunday! We’ll get them reposted tonight.
Ah, you might want to wait until all the MN teams have finished their week 2 competitions…

Fixed.
