On page 11 of the FIRST In Show branding guidelines, the guide shows off multiple film textures that they appear to want to teams to use for their imagery this year, but they do not seem to be located anywhere within the downloadable files for both FIRST and FRC specific logo files. Were these included somewhere in earlier versions of the downloadable files?

I know you can get them as backgrounds from the powerpoint template but I don’t know the resolution/quality.
When I try to download and open the file, however, I get an error that “PowerPoint found a problem with content in [file]. PowerPoint can attempt to repair the presentation.” Then when I click Repair it says “Sorry, PowerPoint can’t read [file]”
I have the (kinda massive) general FIRST In Show PPTX downloaded, but i only have the right example with the 2024 logo on it, which doesnt look to be extractable from a quick poke. I dont see any of the film textures by themselves in the template.
This is interesting. You can try emailing [email protected] and seeing if they can help.

Here you go:
Just open the PDF in Illustrator and extract the files - they are embedded at full resolution (for some reason).

You can also just find film texturea online. They’re all quite similar to the ones used in the FIRST In Show branding
