First, I’d like to thank Brandon for giving me this little corner of CD to do this game. Now, I’m stickying (I think I can claim that as an Eddieism) this thread so everyone knows the rules. Here goes:
As an attempt to become less of a stranger to this place and to spur a little life into CD, I am now officially starting the first (or FIRST) daily Jeopardy column. The rules are simple: every day, I’ll give the answer, and give it a point value. The first person to post with the correct answer in the form of a question, will gain that amount of points. Occasionally, I’ll toss out a bonus relating to the question which, unless otherwise noted, only the answerer can take, and still has to be answered in the form of a question (of course, if he answers the basic question wrong, the bonus is still up for grabs assuming you can answer that basic question). The correct answer will be posted at the end of that day’s thread. I only accept the first response given, so your first post is your answer, even if you forget to put it in the form of a question. The reason I had Brandon disable editing was so no one could post a wrong answer, then change it later and call it right. But he let me have to power to edit my post here in case of a screw-up. So I’m ruling that if there is too much vagueness to the question, or no one can understand what I mean, I will edit it, and leave the question open. Most of these won’t be robotics related, and a lot of the questions won’t have anything to do with science. I’ll be closing threads on a regular basis to stop dead posts from being bumped. And, as of now, me posting the time before each question is official. I am also claiming rule GM2 for this game. 
Every month will be its own competition. After 15 days, I’ll recap the top scores for that month. There are two Daily Doubles each month which wont be known (except by me. I already have the date picked) until the answer is posted. You get double for your answer on that day. Plus, there will be two five-day themes (they’ll both be at least 5 days apart) which will cover one subject, and will escalate in point values starting at 100, and ending at 500. Another recap will come with 5 days left, along with double Jeopardy, where everything’s doubled. The last day of the month will bring a Final Jeopardy(Check this thread out. I’ll probably keep it like this unless someone has a better idea). The first day of the next month will start on a clean slate. I’ll announce the top 3 contestants from the previous month, and give a running tab of all previous scores (which will really be just for fun: the real contest is the monthly one).
