First logo

Hi, i was wondering if anybody knew where to get a first logo with a transparent backround (.png). Im doing the site for my team this year but are site dosent have a white backgorund. If nobody has any ideas ill probably just see what i can do in photoshop but id like to save the time and energy if i can.

Two FireFox crashes later…thank you FIRST PDF’s for killing FireFox…twice
There’s only so much you can do with the FIRST logo technically, you may want to make sure that the background you are going to use is in compliance to the FIRST Logo Standards.

You can get the white background and black background logos here. My suggestion is doing a color replace on the white background logo with a high tolerance to get rid of the background to what you want.

Thanks Alot, I knew something like that exsisted but wasnt sure where to find it. That black logo is perfect for pulling a color range and getting exactly what i want, the white logo was impossible because the circle blended into the backgorund. From what i understood, as long as i dont put it ontop of any pictures or odd colored background colors than im fine. Are site uses a very light gray backgroud so it should look much better now

Also in here FIRST goes through some of the different logo’s they have, which many don’t know about. If you email FIRST and explain the reason you need the special logo, they will send the files to you.

If you are using Firefox, be wary of opening this link. The .pdf just crashes Firefox for me. You might want to open up an IE window…[/size]

People with Firefox issues…sigh Download Adobe Reader 8 (yes a new release with better FF performance), Foxit Reader, or just Right Click save Target…

Beware of FIRST logo standards, FIRST is very a stickler about it’s proper usage and not abiding by it can make a difference between winning an award, and being a runner up (that includes doing a Bibliography/Works Cited when necessary)
