Elaine Anselm (Xerox X-cat) and I will deliver an hour long conference on FIRST that will be carried on the internet on October 12 at 1PM EST. The conference is sponsored by Autodesk (as part of their month of e-conferences to promote internet based design). Our talk/slide show will introduce FIRST and explain why the program has such an impact. Our goal is to have attendees get hooked on FIRST to the point where they request info and start new teams.

Since the conference is free, anyone can attend, but they have to register first via the link below. Feel free to forward this post to others that you are trying to recruit into FIRST. So far about 1500 people are registered for the e-conference, so Elaine & I are very hopeful that it can help the cause.

The conference will finish with phone in questions, so we welcome testimonials from any other FIRST team members.

And if I haven’t sold you yet, the technology for the e-conference is pretty slick to see.
