Note these are only the covers, not the milk crate. They are $20 for a set of 2.

Amdymark has the complete crate+cover for $17 each (plus shipping)

If you wish to find crates locally, they are 13" x 13" x 11" tall according to Section 3.8

Ours came. Not as tight fitting as the cover provided in the KoP however

At Pearadox’s kickoff, 6 cubes from 6 kits ranged from super tight to that loose, so I’m going to chalk it up to cover manufacturing tolerances. You definitely should expect some covers to be at least that loose on the field, if not somewhat more.

We will have more covers available on our website in the next day or so, as those ship from our warehouse. With amazon, we need to ship them to their warehouses and then they go into a black box and appear on their website. Due to the unknown timing of re-stocking amazon it is probably a better bet to order them from our website (or AndyMark or VEX).

All of the covers sold by all vendors this year come from the same USA supplier, and the covers were designed by FIRST. If you see variance across different covers it is safe to say that you will see this variance on the field of play this season and it is something your team needs to be prepared for.

Ok here is a fun story. Selling Game pieces on Amazon was something that we didn’t take lightly from a security standpoint. On our website it is easy to turn things off and on as we have complete control. We were concerned that if for some reason Amazon Glitched out and game pieces became available by mistake having them filed in a category which has tons of items in it not directly related to robotics would be better.

Until right before the game was revealed the name of the product was different, the photos were different, the brand was different, etc. But Amazon doesn’t let you easily change categories things are in, so yes…from our purposes the game piece is filed in “Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry › Luggage & Travel Gear › Gym Bags › Gym Totes”

During strategy talks with the rookies on saturday I randomly cycled between cube, crate, and tote when talking about them.

I prefer magic box but cube thingy and yellow square are also acceptable.

I was super impressed we ordered them on Saturday and they showed up on Monday. Haven’t received the crates from Vex yet to test fitment.

If you’re up for some practice before making your bumpers, you can sew your own Power Cube Covers. With a yard of material you can get two covers.
