FIRST Reality Show

if Andy Baker doesn’t get on Survivor, maybe we can make our OWN reality show to put him on!

here was an idea i had, post your own!

we have a bunch of people and a bunch of robots. each episode each person is paired up with a randomly picked robot and they compete in various challenges. at the end of each episode one human and one robot are voted off. they do not have to be teamed up that episode.

what do you guys think? :stuck_out_tongue:

And what, get MTV to air it? or start a TV Channel called FIRST?

maybe we could get it on HBO, i got connections there

You all know that show “Pimp my ride” I think its called?

We should have “Pimp my robot” weekdays at 4 pm (3 central).

it should be “Dave Says: PIMP My Robot!”

I think, my dear Mike, that this is a classic idea! I like it…we should write a letter to Dean Kamen and HBO about it! grin Classic.

well, my dear Dori, my father works for HBO, so I don’t really need to write them a letter, or at least not pay for postage :stuck_out_tongue:

as far as the letter to dean kamen, we’ll handle that if this seems like it’s going to happen.

So, lets see, take 6 weeks, about $8,500, toss in about a thousand teams, and challange them to make a robot. Afterwards, bring them together, and have them compete for a chance to move on. Those that move on, will then compete for a grand prize.

6 weeks for teams to make a robot, this sounds vaguely familiar…

wow, i’ve responded to every message on here, i should take a little break before i overload the server :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, it may help, but on the otherhand, that is more for the rest of us to reply to

hahaha! well, i honestly like the idea.
i just doubt it’ll happen.
sorry babes :frowning:

well, my good friend, i doubt it will happen too, at least not on a large scale. wouldnt it be great to have a cheap version of it webcast for FIRST members to watch, and then voting could take place here?

If someone volunteers to design the details of the game and someone volunteers to coordinate the filming, it might work. Each participate must have their own digital video camera or something. If that was true, everyone could pitch in like ten bucks and we can put the latest footage on a web server. The server can then have a website that allows people to vote or whatever the game calls for. Good luck with it.
