In my opinion, this game puts FIRST back on track.

The game is going to be VERY good.

I am sure that it will get A LOT of TV coverage. It is not as simple as it might be but it is simple enough. It should be exciting enough and visual enough catch the eye of TV programmers. TV will give FIRST the coverage that they have said they have wanted lo these many years.

All in all, I am very pleased. I predict that this is the break out year for FIRST.

Critical Mass for FIRST will occur sometime about mid-March 2002.

I agree.

I think that some of the announcements Dean talked about coming out during Regionals and Nationals in reference to Disney will be that ESPN or ABC or some other mainstream network (read not NASA TV) will be covering FIRST. I have a feeling that we’ll see something that’s quite a bit more live than we got in the past (the old ESPN coverage).
