FIRST Volunteers

So who is is/has volunteered at a regional? I am part of the field reset/repair crew. I became a volunteer because my team went on hiatus due to lack of teacher support :frowning: .

I have volunteered as a FLL NYC Competition Referee, and was on the 2004 NYC FIRST! Regional Field Restetter / Small Parts Dude on Thursday.

I did team queing at NJ, and also ran the practice feild one day at annapolis

Field reset at LA in 2002.
Queueing at Sacramento in 2003.
Spare parts desk at LA in 2003.
Assistant to KenL (scorekeeper) at Sacramento in 2004.

This thread is incredible - it’s so great to see all of you with dedication to FIRST! By all means, give yourselves a pat on the back… I don’t know how some of you go without sleep that many nights a year :wink:

I volunteered in St. Louis this year, and it was absolutely crazy. I can only imagine how that would be year round and for several years (for people like Rich, Ken, and Nate). You guys don’t get enough thanks.
