We’re gearing up for weeks of regional coverage. Since Adam still hasn’t perfected our matter trasnferance device yet, we can’t make it to all the regionals (let alone class on time). As such, we are employing, nay, EMPOWERING the great users of CD to be senior regional correspondents for regionals they are going to.
Now, we tried this last year. It didn’t work to swell, we had some problems going on on our side, but we have cleared that up for this round. So we are looking for people going to ALL regionals. Even if someone has signed up for your regional, we still want you report! We will include multiple reports in episodes and/or chose the best one.
Here’s what we’re looking for…
-Someone who has a laptop and the means to record (microphone & audacity)
-AT LEAST one person to record (better if it’s a round table format)
-Can be live from a regional, but make sure it’s somewhat quite (check out episode 1.8 for example), or can be taken shortly after a regional.
-Informative, entertaining, and overall fun to listen to
-Audio - not fully edited, we will add you to an existing episode so just having you start out with a “hello I’m name from team…” is great, and a sign off “this is name saying see ya!” is good. If there is a lull or other mistakes or parts that need to be removed, you will need to do this. It is simple in an application such as Audacity.
-Video - we are looking for video of individual matches and event overviews. This allows for more freedom, as you can do a round table format in a regional, you can show highlights, regional overview, etc. Be creative.
-People with personality

Thanks, and hope to see you guys at the events!
