However, the model of the FP motor on FirstCad Lib. doesn’t have a tapped hole for the mounts. I’m guessing its a metric thread (the rest of the motor is metric), but does anyone know what it is?
For whatever reason I can’t find the drawing I know I have of the Fisher-Price motor, but I do have the data you need. The hole you need to put in the pinion is 0.123" +0.001". The shaft is a nominal .125" shaft with a knurl (rough lines) on it. The dimension and tolerance I gave you is what I have been using since 2001 (the shafts have not changed). The mounting holes are for M3 x 0.4 pitch screws and are 25mm apart centered on the shaft diameter.
