I’m trying to join the discord server linked, but the link is invalid. Can you update the link?

Here’s an updated Discord server invite! Summer CADathon

Welcome to the 2024 summer CADathon: Fish Frenzy. This Google Drive folder has both the field CAD and Game Manual:

If you have any questions, you can ask in the qna section of the discord server, where we will get back to you as soon as we have an answer. Additionally, we will release updated Game Manuals if any problems become apparent with the original. Submissions for robots will be though a google form, which will be released later, and are due on August 10th.

Hey all, we’re one week into the CADathon and going strong! If you haven’t already, we’d recommend moving away from the planning stage, and towards the modeling stage this week. The game manual can be found below, but we recommend that you join the discord server so that you can receive game manual updates, ask questions, and see what other participants are working on.

Good luck to you all, and feel free to ask any questions, big or small (preferably through the server)!

4303 The Last Dance

4303 would like to share our robot here because we didn’t have time to make a tech binder. We won best mechanism for our end effector, which we are very excited about!

CAD

Members:
@Eliot @George_Tao @Jupiter @CyberClone @Curtis @bcon @Takanori

End effector

The end effector has a magazine-inspired design, allowing it to hold up to three pellets or two pellets and one coral. It’s powered by one Kraken X60 with a double sided belt. Its bent sheet metal frame allows it to be very light.

Intake

The intake is driven by one Kraken X60, with one super wide belt and one large roller. This provides us with a large acquisition area for pellets. The pivot is also driven by one Kraken X60.

Arm

Our arm is powered by four Kraken X60s. Two for the first joint, one for the second, and one for the wrist. The joints are both controlled by custom gearboxes built into our drivebase. It can score pellets high and intake from the ramp loading station.

Climb

The back stinger is powered by two Kraken X60s on a rack and pinion. We climb with the stinger and the intake working together.

Drivebase

Our drivebase is controlled by four Z.4n custom swerve modules designed by @George_Tao.

Hi Sara,
With the release of the game trailer some hype has been drummed about intaking and manipulating a cylinder shaped game piece and that made me think of this game. Do you mind cross posting your winners announcement from the discord here so I can easily link it to my teammates?
-Elliot

Hey, sorry for the late response! We’d be happy to post the results here too, I’ll get that
