Fixing the drill motor you dropped part 2

To retain the wires and prevent fatigue failures from handling …the wires will be captured in and the brush holder will be protected using a compressiom band ie a piece of bike inner tube or those phat rubber bands they put on brockli(sp)…talk to your produce guy they are cool cause they come in bright colors. So using either band stretch it over the brush holders and add a second one for additional protection.DO NOT block the fan PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZEEEEEEEE.Apply power to the motor to insure it running and race ready.
When you do the next motor preform the wire before you solder them .

I mounted the motor and had it sitting in the mount on the bench so it wouldn’t role.
A team member walked into the room and his b.ack pack snagged the entire assembly and knocked it to the floor - no damage fortunatley, Though I did need to stop a mass assault on the clumsy oaf!
