We are trying to flash an OM5P-AC router that will be put on our robot this year, and we are following the guide on FIRST’s website but when we tried to configure the router we got the error "Bridge configuration failed: failed to change IP address, please ensure the bridge is connected to this computer and try again. We finished loading the firmware and then entered our team number, robot name, and have firewall and BW limit checked with the router connected to our computer and the power in. Does anyone know what is going wrong? 
Have you made sure that your computer is not connected to any wireless networks? That’s been an issue for my team.
The computer is not connected to any other Ethernet devices or wifi connections. It seems the computer may not be detecting the router for some reason.
Are you able to ping the router’s default IP address? Are you running the config utility in administrator mode?
One issue I found was with the power supply. I had a power cord that plugged into the wall, and that didn’t provide enough power for whatever reason. Yet when I had the routers plugged into the supply from the robot, worked like a charm.
Make sure that the ONLY network interface that is NOT disabled (not just having wifi turned off, but fully disabled in the Adapters settings window) is the wired ethernet port on the machine. Basically the machine’s network adapters should be configured as if it was sitting in the Player Station on the field.
Make sure that the port on the radio that the ethernet cable is plugged into is the one AWAY from the power plug (the one that would NOT be connected to the roboRIO).
The thing that ended up working for our team was to load firmware though a network switch. It helps with timeouts.

Since a large number of teams are having trouble with this, I decided to screenshot the screens I used to accomplish this (Windows 10).
Go to “Network and Sharing Center”
Click “Change adapter settings” -> This will open “Network Connections”
Right click and select “disable” for every connection listed OTHER THAN the one to the roboRIO.
